How to create worksheets with blank spaces for learners of Turkish?

You can use this resource to create worksheets with blank spaces for Turkish learners to fill in with their own answers. You can enter any text you like, so you can customize which target vocabulary the student needs to fill in depending on their specific needs. This way you can focus on the words and phrases that the Turkish learner finds most difficult, and get extra practice with them. You can also use texts or themes that a student is already familiar with. This is a very helpful resource for Turkish learners of all levels.

Blank Space Examples

A simple example could be Evde müzik ____ severim (dinlemeyi). Here, for example, you can decide whether the student must answer in the infinitive (to listen) or the present participle (listening).

Another example could be: Spor oynamayı seviyorum.  which becomes ____ oynamayı seviyorum (Spor). The student would then be prompted to provide a sport, so a correct answer could be Netbol oynamayı seviyorum (Spor).

A more advanced example might be: Müzik dinlemeyi severim which becomes _____ dinlemeyi severim (Müzik). The student can then fill in a type of music so it becomes Klasik müzik dinlemeyi severim (müzik).

An example of using this for grammar would be with pronouns.
Onunla konuşmayı seviyorum. which becomes ______ konuşmayı seviyorum (Onunla) where the students need to replace the pronoun with a different pronoun. It's a very versatile resource as it is very open and does not have fixed answers.

This app is probably best used for options where there is no wrong or right answer but there is space for the student to come up with their own answer.

You can choose the Turkish font and size of the text as well as the title for the worksheet. Once created, these Turkish learning worksheets are ready to print in A4. We have lots of other resources for learning Turkish.
